LOVERS GUIDE TO HAT HEAD

Viewed from the sea the headland at Hat Head looks like its name. From the beach it resembles a reclining pregnant female body enclosing a luxuriant amphitheatre and sheltering a small free flowing estuary. Every tidal change results in dramatic surges of ocean water. Photographed over a 12 year period this place is a paradise for children and lovers of the National Park.
